To play Smash 4 mods, you need to have your personal dump of Smash Wii U and its update. Once you have them, open Cemu and boot Smash 4. Then close it and read the log. It will tell you where the game's files are. Create those and that's where you will put the update or you could install the update through Cemu's new Install Update or DLC. There are two options for purchasing content, 'Wii U' and 'Wii U & 3DS.'

Purchasing DLC on the Wii U system using the 'Wii U' option will unlock that content on that system.

Wii U & 3DS Option

Purchasing DLC on the Wii U system using the 'Wii U & 3DS' option will unlock that content on that system, and you will receive a download code for that content on the Nintendo 3DS system.

How to Use the Nintendo 3DS Download Code

The download code for the Nintendo 3DS content will be listed on the Receipt.

You can view the download code by going to the Wii U Nintendo eShop and selecting My Menu → Account Activity → View Receipt to see your Receipt.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

Enter the 16-digit code listed in Account Activity into the DLC Shop in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and the download for the DLC will begin. Once finished, the purchased DLC will be available in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
